The evening provides entertaining, educational, and inspiring stories of river restoration efforts across the United States. With a heavy heart, we write to let you know that we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Walla Walla Movie Crush. We had high hopes. The pandemic appeared to have plateaued and was under control in Walla Walla County about ten days ago, but since then, COVID cases have spiked significantly. Just today, Gov. Inslee put the entire state’s reopening on hold for at least the next two weeks. The health and well-being of our movie-lovers is paramount; thus, we cannot continue moving forward towards that longed-for opening day under the current circumstances. This isn’t what any of us wanted, and we’re devastated to be pulling the plug at this late stage.
