The Ladies of Laughter started out as an annual videotape comedy competition in New York to honor a fellow woman in comedy who helped women get their start. Since its inaugural year when the contest went live in a YWCA in New Jersey, The Ladies of Laughter contest has visited national historic theaters and legendary venues, including Caesars and Madison Square Garden. Past participants include Amy Schumer, Tammy Pescatelli, and Melissa Rauch (Big Bang Theory), and it has steadily become known in the comedy world as a career builder for women in comedy.

Gesa Power House Theatre presents Seattle Rock Orchestra performing "The Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" in concert on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. In this concert, Seattle Rock Orchestra takes a deep dive into The Beatles discography, performing two classic 1967 albums, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "Magical Mystery Tour", both renowned for their experimentation, innovation, and ambition in their use of recorded techniques and varies stylistic influences.

Gesa Power House Theatre presents Seattle Rock Orchestra performing a brand new concert of music by Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Both friends and contemporaries, Cline popularized the "Nashville Sound" and reached new technical and expressive heights in country singing, while Lynn challenged audiences with lyrics that were fearlessly autobiographical and often controversial for the time.

GiveBIG is a statewide fundraising campaign where individuals and organizations come together across Washington to invest in our communities. When we give, we take a proactive step towards creating the society we want to live in. GiveBIG 2022 will kick off on April 19 for early giving and will culminate in a 48-hour giving event on May 3-4!

Blue Mountain Television presents the premiere screening of "The Secret Life of the Deserts: Deserts of the Pacific Northwest" at Gesa Power House Theatre on Sunday, May 22 at 3:00 p.m. and again at 7:00 p.m. The series is dedicated to discovery and education of the vast and complicated desert regions.

Tom Papa will perform an evening of comedy at Gesa Power House Theatre on Saturday, September 17, at 7:00 p.m. With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom Papa is one of the top comedic voices in the country finding success as an author, in film, TV, radio and podcasts as well as on the live stage.  

Gesa Power House Theatre presents The Bauds, live in concert on Saturday, October 1 at 7:00 p.m. The Bauds (formerly The Baudboys) are an award-winning a cappella group comprised of Microsoft employees and alumni.

Currently on her international "Trailer Palooza" tour, Vicki Barbolak was a fan favorite and top 10 finalist on Season 13 of NBC's "America's Got Talent," was featured on the first season of "America's Got Talent, The Champions," and is a recent host of "America's Got Talent Las Vegas Live."
