Press Release: Six Appeal – A Cappella Concert – April 4

Award-winning a cappella group Six Appeal will perform at Gesa Power House Theatre on Thursday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m.

Six Appeal is a world-class vocal ensemble that combines musical prowess and sharp comedic timing with the energy and vitality of a rock band. The award-winning vocal band will take the audience on a journey that covers multiple decades and genres of music – performing classic oldies, current chart toppers, and catchy original tunes – completely a cappella.

In 2012, Six Appeal won the National Harmony Sweepstakes Championship, taking awards for Audience Favorite as well as Best Original Song and securing their place in the a cappella community. Since then, they have performed the national anthem for the Sugar Bowl on ESPN, were Moscow Spring A Cappella International Grand Prize Champions, and performed at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Six Appeal is one of the busiest touring a cappella ensembles in the country. From coast to coast, the group has become known for their vivid musical style, unmatched energy, and playful charm. Their far-reaching repertoire spans a multitude of decades and genres, including Pop, Country, Classic Rock, Jazz, R&B, and much more.

Six Appeal is: Andrew Berkowitz, Michael Brookens, Reuben Hushagen, Evan Taylor Jones, Trenard Jones, and Jordan Roll.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase, and may be taken into the theater.

Reserved seating tickets ($35-$30) will go on sale on Monday, February 18, online or by calling the box office at 509-529-6500.

About the Gesa Power House Theatre

The historic Gesa Power House Theatre is a 300-seat performing arts venue, located in downtown Walla Walla. The 120-year-old building was once the Walla Walla Gas Plant, built to produce coal gas used to light the streets, businesses, and homes of Walla Walla. In 2011 the Gesa Power House Theatre building was transformed into a state-of-the-art playhouse for live performance. The interior design of the theatre was inspired by Shakespeare’s own intimate Blackfriars Theatre in London, England.

The Gesa Power House Theatre is on the Washington State Building Preservation Commission list of State historic buildings and on the National Register of Historic Places. The venue also hosts a variety of other cultural events, musical concerts, and private events (including weddings).
