Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho is proud to present this screening of the short film “Walla Walla” on Sunday, January 22 at 2 p.m. and at 6 p.m. at the Gesa Power House Theatre.
In this short film, two resourceful young adults drive 400 miles from their town in rural Idaho in pursuit of an abortion out of state. Low on cash and fueled by friendship, they make the long trek up 1-84 in a beloved but unreliable 25-year-old car. Determined to find the fun in an otherwise stressful situation. Kayla and Tori pivot masterfully around setbacks large and small with good humor and genuine affection.
Each screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Director Hayley Durelle and select cast members. All ticket sales for this event will benefit PPGWNI and Walla Walla’s Planned Parenthood Ruth Baker Kimball Health Center.
Reserved seating tickets can be purchased by visiting wallawalla.ppgwni.org.
Gesa Power House Theatre is currently operating at full capacity but will continue to follow the most recent guidance from state and county Departments of Health. Current health and safety guidelines at Gesa Power House Theatre are available online or by calling the box office.
