Seattle Jewish Film Festival Shorts Program April 2 @ 7:00 pm $10 – $15

On Wednesday, April 2 at 7 p.m., Gesa Power House Theatre proudly partners once again with the Seattle Jewish Film Festival for 2025’s short film showcase, HASHIVENU: RETURN US. This collection of short films was curated by our Director of Film Programming, Warren Etheredge.

When people speak of grit, they usually mean the power of perseverance. From a secular mindset, grit is a manifestation of stick-to-it-tiveness. For this block of short films, we explore a more divine form of resilience, hashivenu—a reaffirming of faith in challenging times of grief or crisis.

For SJFF’s 30th Pearl Anniversary, this strand of seven cinematic gems exhibits the transformation through adversity to resilience (Rated PG-13).

A program of the Stroum Jewish Community Center, the Seattle Jewish Film Festival runs March 22- April 6. For more information about the annual Seattle Jewish Film Festival, visit SEATTLEJFF.ORG.
