Rude Mechanicals “Macbeth” November 11, 2017 @ 7:00 pm $15 – $25

Gesa Power House Theatre presents Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” performed by The Rude Mechanicals on Saturday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m.

On a barren heath, three sisters tell the great and bloodied Macbeth that he is fated to be King of Scotland. And so begins a terrifying series of events that lead to the murder of Kings, friends, mothers and their children. Macbeth and his Lady fall prey to a soul-corroding guilt as they desperately try and cling to the defiled crown.

“Macbeth” is William Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy, thought to have been first performed in 1606.

A free behind-the-scenes conversation with The Rude Mechanicals Artistic Director Ellicia Elliott will take place at 6:00 p.m. She will discuss how their company approached producing this play, and talk about the history of the play and the historical characters Shakespeare based it on.

Reserved seating tickets ($25-$20 Adults, $15 Students) are available online or by calling the box office at 509-529-6500. RSVP on Facebook
