Inspired by the TV show, Shark Tank, the “Pitch It!” competition provides a vehicle for students to design and develop innovative business concepts, create a presentation of their concept for a panel of judges and pitch their innovation in-front of a live audience.
In the final event, held on Wednesday, November 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Gesa Power House Theatre, the top two finishers at each preliminary event will compete for the final award.
Judges for this year’s final round include:
- Megan Clubb, CEO of Baker Boyer Bank
- Andre Bopp, Owner of Andre’s Kitchen
- Hank Worden, Financial Advisor at Edward Jones
- Shannon Bergevin, Owner of Express Personnel
- Zachary Fraser, Chief Operating Officer of Pacific Baseball Ventures, owner of the Walla Walla Sweets
Admission is free and open to the public. The event will also be live-streamed (visit http://www.pitch-it.info/).
