On March 23, 2023, at 7 p.m., Tel Aviv Wind Quintet will perform “Peter and the Wolf” at the Gesa Power House Theatre. As part of the Little Watts Family Series, this event is sponsored in part by Walla Walla Valley Honda and AAUW-Walla Walla.
The Tel Aviv Wind Quintet is one of the most successful chamber music ensembles in Israel today. The group was established in 2009 by five young Israeli musicians seeking to expose a broader audience to the wonderful wind repertoire, as well as commissioned works. By combining music with other art forms such as theater and movement, the Quintet also aims to build upon and expand the existing concert format.

The Quintet is supported by the Israeli Ministry of Culture. It was awarded the Eilam Prize for Israeli Performers (2011) as well as grants from the Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts, Haifa Arts Foundation, Ronen Foundation, and the Israel Lottery Council for Culture & Arts.
