Gesa Power House Theatre proudly presents stand-up comedy by Ladies of Laughter on Saturday, May 4 at 7 p.m. This show is sponsored in part by the Pacific Power Foundation.

Since its inaugural year, the Ladies of Laughter contest’s past participants include Amy Schumer and “Big Bang Theory” star Melissa Rauch. This year’s comedians include: 

Alycia Cooper (actor, comedian, DGA and Emmy nominated director) was the 2014 Ladies of Laughter Professional winner who has entertained troops all over the world. 

Liz Glazer, an award-winning standup comedian, was the 2021 Newcomer winner in the competition and won first place in the Boston Comedy Festival. Before comedy, she was a tenured law professor at Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law. 

Maureen Langan has performed on Broadway with Rosie O’Donnell and has shared the stage with Robin Williams, Steven Wright, and Gladys Knight.  She was also a semifinalist on Season 18 of America’s Got Talent, where she received a standing ovation “and 4 yeses!”
