WW Choral Society: “Music of New Orleans” – Concert March 3, 2019 @ 3:00 pm $12 – $17

Bonjour ya’ll! We’re fixin’ to make you want to dance, march, sing, and shout with the “Music of New Orleans”! This hotbed of American music has produced a plethora of musical styles and favored melodies. I’m sure you’ll be joining in with us on many of these songs.

Attend our Sunday Matinee at the regular $17 price. Or if that ain’t enough you can up your party game “boo-coo” on Monday Night at 5:30 that includes a pre-funk featuring New Orleans style appetizers and party favors for $25! F’true! Laissez les bons temps rouler!

The Walla Walla Choral Society’s 2018-2019 concert season continues with “Music of New Orleans” at Gesa Power House Theatre on Sunday, March 3 at 3:00 p.m. and Monday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m.

Just the city’s name incites visions of festivals, dance, allure, mystery, and history. New Orleans, the cradle of jazz and home to many distinct musical styles ranging from the modern to the traditional. With so many cultures melded together, musical influences and instruments from around the world, from Congo drumming to European horns, have come together to create unique new sounds that could only have come from New Orleans.

Reserved seating tickets are available online or by calling the Gesa Power House Theatre box office at 509-529-6500. No outside food or beverages allowed.

  • Sunday, March 3 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Monday, March 4 – 7:00 p.m. (preshow reception at 5:30 p.m. – tickets are SOLD OUT. Concert-only tickets are still available for $17)
