SUMMARY:David Luning Band in Concert
DESCRIPTION:Singer/songwriter David Luning and his band will perform a concert of Americana rock music at Gesa Power House Theatre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday\, July 15. \nHailing from Northern California\, David Luning is part of a new generation of indie musicians whose genre blurs the lines of Americana\, Alt Country\, Folk and Blues. With insights beyond his years\, David’s poignant songwriting and warm\, rich timbre voice captivates audiences and draws them into an Americana world both familiar and new. \nDavid plays guitar\, piano\, harmonica\, and accordion with three amazing musicians: Linden Reed\, Dave Sampson\, and Ben Dubin; collectively called the David Luning Band. \nDavid Luning’s songs include surprising insights into love and car troubles\, tales of ramblin’ and homesick desperation\, and foot stompin’ sing-alongs. People often comment that his lyrics remind them of a young John Prine or Bob Dylan\, and Luning’s original music and lyrics continue to win songwriting competitions and his fan base of loyal listeners is expanding quickly! \n \n“Staunch originality\, no one’s doing what you do…”\n-Keith Urban\, American Idol \n“…I’ve heard the future of Americana music and it’s David Luning.”\n– Johnny Bazanno\, KRCB 91 FM \nDavid Luning’s music has appeared in films and documentaries and on a recent episode of NBC’s “Grimm”. \nReserved seating tickets ($28-$24) are available online or by calling the box office at 509-529-6500. \n# # # \nWant to receive early notice and access to ticket sales?
