SUMMARY:Othello
DESCRIPTION:Gesa Power House Theatre proudly presents a live cinema screening of OTHELLO on Wednesday\, March 11 at 7PM\, and Sunday\, March 15 at 2PM. This program is supported in part by Lisa Anderson & Stephanie Whitaker\, and by a grant from the ArtsWA.  \nShakespeare’s OTHELLO rages to life like never before in a ‘compelling’ (★★★★ Telegraph) new production starring David Harewood OBE (Homeland\, Best of Enemies)\, Toby Jones OBE (Mr Bates vs the Post Office\, Detectorists)\, Caitlin FitzGerald (Succession\, Masters of Sex)\, Vinette Robinson (Boiling Point) and Luke Treadaway (A Street Cat Named Bob). \nDirected by Tony Award-winner Tom Morris OBE (War Horse\, Dr Semmelweis\, The Grinning Man) with music by PJ Harvey\, this epic story of manipulation\, jealousy and toxic masculinity explores the darker side of power\, rage and desire. Filmed live at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London especially for the big screen\, this is ‘an electrifying star-studded Othello.’ (★★★★ Mail on Sunday).

SUMMARY:Frankenstein
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, April 12th\, at 2PM\, Gesa Power House Theatre proudly presents a screening of Frankenstein\, filmed live at the Royal National Theatre. \nChildlike in his innocence but grotesque in form\, Frankenstein’s bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes\, the increasingly desperate and vengeful Creature determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal. Scientific responsibility\, parental neglect\, cognitive development\, and the nature of good and evil are embedded within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic tale. \nThis production stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock\, Dr. Strange\, The Imitation Game) as the Creature\, filmed live at the Royal National Theatre in London in 2011. Writer Nick Dear aims to tell the story\, at least initially\, from the creature’s point of view. “We do start with the moment of creation\,” he says\, “but not told from the perspective of the scientists\, which is how it’s usually told; we tell it from the perspective of the experiment rather than the experimenter. \n“A great deal of what we’re trying to do in this show is to explore what it feels like to be that experiment.” \nReserved seating tickets begin at $15 ($10 for students) and will become available online to +Power Club members on February 8 at 8AM\, and to the general public on February 15 at 8AM. To join our +Power Club\, or learn more\, click here.

SUMMARY:All My Sons
DESCRIPTION:On June 17th\, 2026\, at 7PM\, Gesa Power House Theatre proudly presents All My Sons\, filmed live from the West End. \nBryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths) feature in a five-star\, triumphantly acclaimed new production of Arthur Miller’s classic play\, from visionary director Ivo Van Hove (A View from the Bridge). \nOne family\, the heart of the American dream. When wartime delivers profits for Joe\, it comes at a price when his partner is charged with criminal manufacturing deals\, and his eldest son goes missing in action. Will peacetime bring peace of mind\, or will he be confronted by the consequence of his actions? \nPaapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You)\, Tom Glynn-Carney (House of the Dragon)\, and Hayley Squires (I\, Daniel Blake) also feature in this disturbingly prescient play. \nReserved seating tickets begin at $15 ($10 for students) and will become available online to +Power Club members on February 8 at 8AM\, and to the general public on February 15 at 8AM.
