DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Live Cinema Series continues at Gesa Power House Theatre with a screening of Measure for Measure by The Royal Shakespeare Company on Wednesday\, September 4 at 6:00 p.m. This production is filmed live in England and rebroadcast internationally to select screens. \n \nWhen a young novice nun is compromised by a corrupt official\, who offers to save her brother from execution in return for sex\, she has no idea where to turn for help. When she threatens to expose him\, he tells her that no one would believe her. \nShakespeare wrote this play in the early 1600s\, yet it remains astonishingly resonant today.
