SUMMARY:Twelfth Night
DESCRIPTION:Shakespeare Under the Stars Presents Twelfth Night on August 20–23 & August 27–30 at 7:00 PM\, at Echolands Winery! \n  \n\n\nImportant – How Admission Works: \nThis show is pay-what-you-will and is not ticketed. An RSVP is NOT required and does NOT guarantee you a seat. \n\n\nGeneral Admission seating is first-come\, first-served. You are also welcome to simply come to the performance and make a donation at the door. Seating is provided\, with additional space available if you prefer to bring a blanket for picnic-style seating! \n\n\nSo\, why RSVP? An RSVP helps us anticipate how many people plan to attend each night\, and it gives you an easy way to make your pay-what-you-will donation by credit card in advance. Your RSVP is not a ticket or a seat reservation. \n\nWant a guaranteed seat? Reserved Poet’s Porch seating is available for purchase. Click the RSVP button above to RSVP for General Admission or purchase Poet’s Porch seating. \nShakespeare Under the Stars Returns! Locally produced by Shakespeare Under the Stars\, this year’s production brings together talented artists from Walla Walla and visiting artists from across the region. Experience Shakespeare as it was meant to be: alive\, communal\, and surrounded by the beauty of the natural world. Set against the stunning backdrop of Echolands Winery\, evenings begin with live pre-show music and the chance to gather with friends over a glass of wine before the story begins.\n\nThis year\, Shakespeare Under the Stars presents TWELFTH NIGHT\, a classic comedy of mischief\, music\, and mistaken identity. \n\nA shipwreck separates Viola from her twin brother\, Sebastian\, leaving her stranded in an unfamiliar land. Determined to survive\, she disguises herself as a young man and steps into a world already brimming with longing\, desire\, and barely contained emotion. In the neighboring households of Olivia and Orsino\, love runs wild—and rarely in the right direction. Affections are misplaced\, identities are blurred\, and even the ever-proper steward Malvolio is drawn into the chaos. As music fills the air and disguises deepen the confusion\, Twelfth Night unfolds into a joyful tangle of unrequited love\, comic mischief\, and unexpected possibility—where nothing is quite as it seems\, and anything can happen. \nGETTING THERE & WHEN TO ARRIVE:\n\nEcholands Winery is about a 15-minute drive from downtown Walla Walla\, so plan a little extra travel time. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before the 7:00 PM start time to park and choose your seat. Please note: late seating is not permitted\, as it can be disruptive to performers and fellow audience members. \n\n\nPOET’S PORCH: \n\n\nWant a guaranteed seat? Poet’s Porch is our reserved premium seating experience\, offering a special way to enjoy Shakespeare Under the Stars from the front of the audience. Poet’s Porch seats are available for purchase through the RSVP button above. \n\n\nCAN I BRING FOOD OR DRINK? \n\nYou may! Echolands Winery is kind enough to say you can bring food & drink of your choice.
