DESCRIPTION:Gesa Power House Theatre is proud to announce the return of SHAKESPEARE UNDER THE STARS to Echolands Winery! This outdoor production invites you to experience Shakespeare as it was meant to be: alive\, communal\, and surrounded by the beauty of the natural world. Set against the stunning backdrop of Echolands Winery\, evenings begin with live pre-show music and the chance to gather with friends over a glass of wine before the story begins. You will have eight opportunties to attend for 2026. The show will begin each evening August 20-23\, and August 27-30 at 7:00PM.  \nThis year we will enjoy Shakespeare’s classic comedy of mischief\, music\, and mistaken identity unfolds under the open skyfor a production of TWELFTH NIGHT. A shipwreck separates Viola from her twin brother\, Sebastian\, and leaves her stranded in an unfamiliar land. Determined to survive\, she disguises herself as a young man and steps into a world already brimming with longing\, desire\, and barely contained emotion.\n\nIn the neighboring households of Olivia and Orsino\, love runs wild and rarely in the right direction. Affections are misplaced\, identities are blurred\, and even the ever-proper steward Malvolio is drawn into the chaos. As music fills the air and disguises deepen the confusion\, Twelfth Night unfolds into a joyful tangle of unrequited love\, comic mischief\, and unexpected possibility—where nothing is quite as it seems\, and anything can happen.\n\n\nLast year’s showing were each a full house\, so we highly encourage you RSVP and save your spot! DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, August 21\, 2026 at 1:00PM\, Gesa Power House Theatre will conclude a four-week family-friendly throwback film series with a screening of ALADDIN. Join the theater team each week for a nostalgic afternoon of film\, friends\, and fun! Our Little Watts series is sponsored by Coldwell Banker Walla Walla and Underriner Honda of Walla Walla. Special sponsorship of our summer throwback series provided by Katherine Nordal and Elaine Eaker making it possible to welcome particiapnts of our local Camp Fire Walla Walla day camp\, and YMCA progamming! \nDisney’s classic\, Aladdin\, tells the story of a kind-hearted street thief named Aladdin who struggles to survive in the city of Agrabah. His life changes when he meets Princess Jasmine\, who longs to escape the constraints of royal life. After being tricked by the power-hungry sorcerer Jafar into retrieving a magical lamp from the Cave of Wonders\, Aladdin discovers a Genie who can grant him three wishes. Hoping to win Jasmine’s heart\, he uses his wishes to disguise himself as a wealthy prince. \nAs Aladdin navigates his new identity\, he must also outwit Jafar\, who seeks the lamp’s power for himself. Ultimately\, Aladdin learns the importance of honesty and staying true to who he is\, using his final wish to free the Genie rather than for personal gain.
