DESCRIPTION:The Walla Walla Choral Society will perform a holiday concert on Sunday\, November 27\, at 3:00 p.m.\, and Monday\, November 28\, at 7:00 p.m. \nThe Walla Walla Choral Society presents “Our Songs of Joy”\, a concert set to kick off the Holiday Season in the Walla Walla Valley! This is a program filled with both traditional and popular Holiday music\, guaranteed to bring a smile to all generations. Treat the whole family and shift your holiday spirits into high gear! \nReserved seating tickets ($20 adults\, $17 students) are available online or by calling the box office at 509-529-6500. \nThe Walla Walla Choral Society and its predecessors have delivered the gift of song to our community for more than 117 years. In late 2019\, the Society’s Board completed a new strategic plan that included the creation of a new Children’s Chorus and plans to build enhanced collaborations and mutual support throughout our performing arts community. However\, like so many organizations and businesses\, the pandemic postponed and cancelled in-person rehearsals and concerts. Nevertheless\, many of the Choral Society’s 60+ singers stayed connected throughout 2020 via video rehearsals. In-person rehearsals resumed cautiously in the fall of 2021 and have continued to the present. \nThe Choral Society\, as a vital member of the vibrant local arts culture\, has provided a special opportunity for community members\, children’s choirs\, and other arts organizations to perform with the Choral Society here at the Gesa Power House Theatre. \nGesa Power House Theatre is currently operating at full capacity but will continue to follow the most recent guidance from state and county Departments of Health. Current health and safety guidelines at Gesa Power House Theatre are available online or by calling the box office. \nThis event is a rental by the Walla Walla Choral Society.
