Aptly described as the love child of Jack Black and Bette Midler\, Sharron delivers jaw-dropping vocals\, hilarious pop-culture punches and hit-melody mash-ups in a one-of-a-kind cabaret experience that defies age and gender barriers. \nMusical comedienne Sharron Matthews has been playing to sold-out audiences and 5-star reviews across Canada\, South Africa\, London\, in New York City where she was named the “#1 Cabaret in New York City in 2010” by Nite Life Exchange\, and in Edinburgh where she was voted “Best of the Fest”. In Toronto Matthews was named “Best Cabaret Performer” in 2009 by NOW Magazine. She has appeared in hit movies like Mean Girls\, Cinderella Man and Hairpray and on stage in Les Miserables\, Showboat\, Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz for which she was nominated for a Dora Award.
